If you see something prior to installation and alteration that does not meet your expectations, then we stand by you.

Before any item leaves our shop, our experienced craftsmen carefully inspect every detail. Upon arrival to the destination, the original purchaser and installer should inspect the material as well. If something is seen prior to installation or alteration that does not meet standards, then we stand by you and will replace it free of charge. 

Since each piece of wood is unique, there will be variations in color, tone, knots and other characteristics that are not covered by this warranty. Please see below for other variations to note and reference our care guide to help preserve the beauty of your material. All warranty claims must be filled within 30 days of arrival to delivery site and documentation verifying purchase will be required. Water’s Edge Woods reserves the right to have a designated Water’s Edge Woods representative inspect the material(s) and to take samples for analysis. Our warranties are not transferrable and no installer, retailer, distributor or Water’s Edge Woods employee can alter this warranty. 

The Variations of Good Wood


Due to it's characteristics, there will be times during the year when the wood will expand or contract through wet and dry seasons. Since this is a natural occurrence of wood and the product will already be installed, then this warranty is void.

We celebrate the different species of woods we use and each tree has a different genetic complexity which can discolor or age the wood when exposed to different elements. For this reason, new and/or replacement material may not be identical to display samples or existing installations.
