The Problem with Fireplace Mantels

We get lots of folks wanting fireplace mantels and many questions about how to install fireplace mantels. While we love solid timber mantels, they can be hard to install when renovating an existing fireplace or building a new one. Additionally, the exact dimensions and species a customer might need aren’t always available as solid timber.

To solve both these problems we are now crafting box beam mantels that look amazing, can be installed by almost anyone, and are available in any species/dimensions you might need. Check out this video Greg made: he goes over the different methods to install timber mantels and how easy it is to install our new box beam mantels.

The mantel in the video is Ambrosia Maple, but we have also been making some beautiful mantels from Black Walnut, Spalted Magnolia, and White Oak. Of course, we will continue to provide a massive selection of timber mantels in Reclaimed Heart Pine, White Oak, Western Red Cedar, and Live-edge Cedar.

The box beam mantels can be purchased online or calling our showroom.
