Woodworking and Specialty Lumber Business offers finished product experience for customers

Water’s Edge Woods is happy to announce that it will be expanding its presence with a showroom at the Falls of Oconee shopping center in Athens, GA. The grand opening will take place on April 14, 2018 between 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the 8851 Macon Hwy Suite 309.

The showroom will be a celebration of beautiful wood and highlight a variety of handcrafted products from timber mantels to tongue & groove options for walls and ceilings. Additionally, there will be curated wood furnishings, such as countertops, barn doors, and dining room tables.

Co-Owner and President of Water’s Edge Woods, Andrew Dittmeier, is opening this location to make the process of transforming spaces with unique wood more accessible for homeowners, designers, and builders.

“While we love having our customers visit our manufacturing facility in Comer, it lacks the finished product experience some of our clients desired. The new showroom will allow customers to see finished products and be inspired by wood choices that they didn’t even know existed. We want to make the process of transforming a space both easy and fun,” said Dittmeier. “Since we opened our doors, our goal has been to bring the nature and beauty of wood to more people and we know the showroom will enhance that mission.”

“Athens is the town I call home and full of great small businesses.  We are excited to meet new people in the community and add more value to our current customers in the Athens area.” said co-owner and lead carpenter Greg Etheridge.

Water’s Edge Woods serves both local and national clients as a woodworking shop and lumberyard to provide wood that cannot be found in big box stores. With a dedication to quality craftsmanship and customer service, it is your go-to shop for any wood project and it provides easy online ordering and shipping throughout the continental United States.
